CIVL UG Student Awarded HKCA Lo Pan Scholarship for a Second Time

We are thrilled to congratulate Mr. CHEUNG Eugene Hon, a 2025 graduate from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, for being awarded the Lo Pan Scholarship, offered by the Hong Kong Construction Association (HKCA), for the second year in a row.
Established in 2023, the HKCA Lo Pan Scholarship is a flagship youth empowerment program of the HKCA. The program aims to support local university students pursuing studies or careers in construction-related disciplines, recognizing those with exemplary academic results, leadership, community service, and integrity. Through this scholarship program, the HKCA hopes to inspire talented individuals to become future leaders in the construction industry.
The 2nd Lo Pan Scholarship Presentation Ceremony took place during the HKCA Lo Pan Patron’s Day Dinner on July 25, 2025. This year, ten awardees were selected by a panel comprising representatives from the HKCA Executive Committee and Council to receive the scholarship, valued at HK$30,000 each. This was the second time in two years that Eugene was awarded the scholarship in recognition of his exceptional achievements.
